Prism Design is a creative venture started as an outlet for learning. Most of my work has been in print media, but evolved into the World Wide Web and into traditional drawing techniques. I've designed logos, brochures, posters, handbooks, letterhead, and business cards for several people. My latest efforts have also included decorative paint techniques, jewlery, and some Celtic Knotwork drawings. Most of my work is for non-profit organizations or just for the fun of it, but I'm interested in branching out.

Methods and Tools

Web Sites
Web Sites are design on a Mac using Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel Draw for graphics. All html is coded by hand in a plain text editor. Forms and scripts are developed on a UNIX machine with final publishing done from a UNIX shell account.
Logos, Brochures, Programs, Business Cards, etc
Logos are designed in Photoshop and Illustrator. Brochures, programs, business cards, letterhead, etc are designed in Illustrator, Powerpoint or more recently Publisher. Publisher is great for small programs or booklets because it paginates your document to be folded and stapled.
